About

I am a trainee psychotherapist and a registered member of the UKCP. I work with adults who are experiencing a wide range of feelings that may be unhelpful, such as:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Suicidal thoughts

  • Self-harm

  • Domestic abuse

  • Relationship struggles

  • Bereavement and grief

  • Trauma

  • Educational trauma

I have always found the human mind fascinating, and having found myself in therapy, I was inspired to train as a psychotherapist. I became a therapist because I’ve always been fascinated by the resilience of the human spirit and wanted to help people navigate life’s challenges.

How I work

I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in bringing about lasting change. You may just feel stuck and unsure how to move forward. I can sit with you in this and help you find your way. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space to explore what is troubling you. I will work collaboratively with you to understand your needs and set achievable goals to bring about the change your looking for.

I use Transactional Analysis which is a humanistic therapy that helps us to look at and understand unhelpful patterns of interaction and to understand ourselves better, leading to greater awareness. I have experience working with:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • ADHD

  • Stress

  • Grief

  • Relationships

  • Domestic abuse

  • Suicidal thoughts

  • Self harm

  • Low self-esteem
